Sectors

Domestic, commercial and industrial

The hardware overlaps, the brief does not. A private driveway is judged on privacy and kerb appeal; a distribution yard is judged on movements per day; a managed block is judged on paperwork. We specify for the brief you actually have.

Domestic & Residential

Private driveways, gated homes and rural properties

For a private home the brief is usually privacy, kerb appeal and keeping vehicles off the drive, and the gate has to be safe around children and visitors who have no idea how it behaves.

We automate existing gates and install new ones in steel or timber, with video intercom, app access and keypad entry. Where a property is rural or the mains run is impractical, we specify battery-backed or solar-assisted operation so a power cut does not leave you locked in.

Typically involves

  • Swing gate automation with underground or ram operators
  • Sliding gates where a driveway cannot take a swing arc
  • Video intercom and app-based access for visitors and deliveries
  • Battery backup so the gate works through a power cut
  • Safety devices sized for children and pets on site

Commercial & Managed Property

Offices, retail, car parks and managed residential blocks

Commercial entrances are judged on uptime and on paperwork. A barrier that traps a customer costs you the car park; a gate without force-test records costs you the insurance argument.

We work for facilities managers, managing agents and multi-site operators, which means planned maintenance rounds, written reports per visit, a single point of contact across a portfolio, and credential management you can run yourself without calling an engineer every time a tenant changes.

Typically involves

  • Rising-arm barriers and ANPR for staff and customer car parks
  • Apartment and multi-occupancy intercom and entry systems
  • Planned maintenance contracts with written compliance reports
  • Portfolio-wide compliance and force-testing surveys
  • Credential management for tenants, staff and contractors

Industrial & Logistics

Distribution yards, manufacturing sites and secure compounds

Industrial entrances run hard. A distribution yard gate can see several hundred movements a day, and a domestic-grade operator will not survive a month of it.

We specify to duty cycle, install heavy-duty sliding and high-speed systems, and segregate vehicle and pedestrian movement properly. Where a site runs shifts, we schedule maintenance around them rather than shutting your gate in the middle of a delivery window.

Typically involves

  • Heavy-duty sliding gates specified to continuous duty
  • High-speed barriers for yards with constant HGV movement
  • Vehicle and pedestrian segregation with separate controls
  • Induction loops, free-exit and traffic-light control
  • Out-of-hours maintenance scheduled around shift patterns

Thinking about a new gate?

Tell us about the entrance and we will come and look at it, then specify the gate and operator that suit the opening, the traffic and the site. Surveys are free and quotations are itemised.
